These Large Digital Timers offer 4 distinct models  for measuring and displaying Time:

All models except the Stop Watch Timer provide control signal outputs.

UP / DOWN Large Digit Timers

These Large Digit Timers will Time UP or DOWN from a thumbwheel preset value, which may be set remotely from the Timer via a hand held box or from thumbwheels on the actual case assembly.  An output contact is provided as a standard feature at 'Time Out' to control a process via a SPCO 3A relay.

Remote Time Setting Box – Up / Down Timers only

Using serial interface,  this feature allows the Time range to be entered remotely via a hand held box,  which once set can be dis-connected until the Time range needs to be changed again.  Only one remote box is required for any number of Timers on site.

Start / Stop / Reset wiring terminals are provided which can also be remotely wired any distance from the Timer, such as a Control Panel outside the Timer location.

Large Digit Time Totalisers

These Large Digit Timers time UP from zero as long as the start signal is made, which is a volt free momentary contact closure.  Totalisers can be 2.5,  4  or  6 digit format and usually as Seconds, Minutes and Hours and combinations of these.  Additional time bases are available such as Days,  or for fast timing periods,  tenths,  hundredths and even thousandths of seconds.  Digit sizes available are from 2.3” (58mm) to 18” (457mm).

An additional feature of the Totaliser is to provide a control output at a preset value which will activate at the preset value but will also allow the Totaliser to carry on Totalising until it is manually stopped or reaches its maximum range limit.

Start / Stop / Reset terminals are standard on the Totalisers which can also be remotely wired any distance from the Totaliser,  such as a Control Panel outside the Totaliser location.

Large Digit Stop Watch Timer

These Large Digit Stop Watch Timers have been developed to measure production time or downtime of a process on shift changeover or the production of a different product than previously made.

They can be used as Production Displays when they display ACTUAL Time and TOTAL Time taken with separate resets so that TOTAL Time can accumulate while the ACTUAL time can be reset periodically.

Start / Stop / Reset facilities are standard which may be wired remotely any distance from the Stop Watch,  such as a Control Panel outside the Stop Watch location.

No output is available on the Large Digit Stop Watch Timers.

 

Large Digit DAYS Timers

These Timers will Time in  'Days:Hours:Minutes:Seconds' as Totalisers or as Preset Timers, indoor or outdoor.  They can be supplied with the ability to provide outputs at certain points in the Timing period and they can be supplied in TIME UP or TIME DOWN mode from a preset.

Days Since Last Accident Displays

LTAD’s have become very popular with companies and institutions of all kinds wishing to advertise to visitors their Health and Safety standards by showing on these displays the number of days that have passed since the last ‘ incident ‘ or ‘ accident ‘ on site.

Often located in Receptions or on Company / Institution name boards on entry for the visitor to see, they are a clear indication that a serious policy towards Health and Safety is employed.

Operation

The LTAD has a built in 24 hour cycling Timer circuit whereby every 24 hours it will register one Count on the display to represent another day of incident free operations.

The displays are supplied with an IR Remote which enables the display to be calibrated to show the incident free days gone by to date, before the display was installed, so no record is lost. The remote also allows the display to be reset to zero, should such an incident occur to start its cycle again.

2.3” (58mm) and 4.0” (102mm) displays may be panel mounted, larger digits are usually wall mounted. IP65 outdoor displays are also available with daylight viewing LEDs.
